Well this place has the most delicious Mexican food in London. Their food is so amazing that I have no guilt about over eating it. One day me and my friend went to this place out of curiosity and hunger. But they delivered such a great food and experience I kept going there every now and then . Staff over there is very nice and welcoming. Food is best in the town. They host Mexican food during the weekend. Which is Friday to Saturday. They have different level of spicy sauce. Sometimes they might not give you their spiciest one. But you can ask them for it. Every time I went there left the restaurant with a great experience. I can’t recommend this place enough. Prices are very reasonable and food portions are very good. Restaurant itself is bit small but that’s alright because it doesn’t get much crowded.

Some of the best food I’ve had in London! Lunch from their bakery section was amazing and such good value for money (especially the chicken Saltena!). The atmosphere in the shop is comforting and relaxed and the staff are lovely and very helpful. I would 100% recommend coming here for lunch or a quick snack, and will definitely be returning.

Amazing Mexican restaurant! Great tacos and quesadillas for an affordable price. 3 large tacos for 12 or 3 quesadillas for 16! Really good quality and authentic ingredients and flavours! Also the service reminded me of the true Mexican hospitality I experienced while there.. It has a really authentic feel! They serve Bolivian food Monday to Friday lunch. Then they change the menu to Mexican for the weekend. Full of locals and a true local gem! Recommended!

We loved it! It was my first time having Bolivian food. Went for dinner with my wife..ended up buying some more to take home! Great music, awesome Bolivian/Latin Dishes. Coming back next time I’m in London.

Amazing restaurant run by wonderful people with truly delicious Mexican food on weekend dinners! Had chorizo and birria quesadillas, adobo tacos, horchata & churros - all incredible. Cannot wait to come back!

This is not my first time here, but rather the 10th time! The place is wonderful, good ambiance, good food, very kind waiters (especially Cristian), and a very nice place in general. The cuisine is authentic mexican food (with a lot of promotions available!), and they give you a lot of salsas, guac, onions, and jalapenos in addition with the tacos/quesadillas. Overall I couldn’t be happier with this place, its my go-to spot in Bermondsey!

Best place to feel like home. Fresh, delicious food and Martin, the owner is so patient and very friendly. He would always give little free treats to my daughters whenever I go to buy ‘Saltenas’ which makes my daughters day! I would recommend the smoothies and Saltenas, you won’t be disappointed!

Service Review: I've visited Saltenas Martin Cafe three times, and each visit has been marked by the staff's exceptional hospitality and manners. I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Premises review: The restrooms were impeccably clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies. For those who prefer contactless payments, you can pay with a card, which is very convenient. For anyone looking for a place to relax and work, they have multiple wall sockets available. Food Review: The Saltena Pastry was outstanding! The chicken was perfectly cooked, the pastry had a lovely golden-brown color, and the broth sauce made it juicy and flavorful. The cassava dish was nostalgic and reminded me of homemade food in Uganda. The evening menu from Thursday to Sunday offers a greater variety of options; I tried the pork and beef tacos, which were both delicious. Additionally, I enjoyed the Mexican Horchata and Oat Latte drinks. Atmosphere Review: The cafe exudes a homely vibe, and the Christian gospel music adds to the atmosphere. As a Christian, I am overjoyed to have found a place like this close to my home. The qualities of peace and kindness are evident here, just as Galatians 5:22 describes.
